Hal`s Drive In in Sedro Woolley

Food always tastes good. The employees are very upbeat and smiling. Love the atmosphere. I love the cute decor as well. I have been going to Hals for a very long time. ( at least 20 years).

Came right out to our car for our order and she was wearing a mask, appreciated the service. Hamburger and fries were just like I remembered, good and satisfying.

I got a deluxe burger meal I got home to a burger that looks like the patty had a bite taken out of it. Then I drive back to the restaurant after working ten hours. And they wouldn't replace my fries that are sitting at home getting cold.

The shakes, drinks and food were all on point. Excellent. The staff was very friendly. It was my 1st time there today. I have spread the word of a great burger joint called Hal's 😍 🙌 I look forward to more good eats very soon and more often. 😁

Long time customer of this wonderful establishment. The ladies are always in a great mood and work hard to get your order out quick. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, but highly recommend the deep fried mushrooms and any one of the combos with a shake. The drive thru can get very congested as they make food when ordered, but it can leave you stuck in the street if you're not careful. Limited seating inside and parking off to one side. Over all this is a must for fresh, great tasting food and amazing service with a smile.

Good burger, but yucky, soft, no crunch fries, tartar sauce no good either.

This place has the BEST food! Great service! Such sweet workers. Love the old fashioned atmosphere. Just exactly as I remember it when I was a kid 20 years ago. Prices are great too. I will be going here more often.

My wife talked me into driving in to get milk shakes and I guess they decided to close early.... got there at 6:45pm online and the sign at the store said 7pm. There wasn't even one person their. Thanks for waisting my time

Hal's has wonderful food. This is my favorite restaurant. The 1950's theme is so fun and cheerful. They have a kid's menu and the best milkshakes around.

I had not been to Hals in years (many many years) was so nice to know they still had corn dogs!! The staff was very friendly . This place brings back such fun memories of my youth

My mom and sister raved about this place so at least they liked it. When they took us I was not impressed at all. I ordered the deluxe burger and we got an order of the curly fries or Fair fries whatever you want to call them. Both were just a greasy mess with hardly any flavor. And there was an odd taste to them. Service was meh and I just wasn't impressed at all with anything. It seemed more like a High School lunchroom instead of a 50s Burger joint.

Good prices. Great Deluxe Burger.

Have yet to get my order right. Dont wear masks during a pandemic that has killed more americans in 5 months then the last 4 wars together.

Excellent sandwiches and really great onion rings with tater sauce.

We were nearby treasure hunting (Geocaching) when my sister pointed out that even though it's 30 degrees out we should stop into the local favorite, Hal's, for the milkshakes. I'm not opposed to trying new food items so we wandered over. I love the flavor of root beer, so I opted for the root beer milkshake. The decor had several Elvis themed items so I felt obliged to snap a few photos and tag my Facebook friends that are Elvis fans. Tasty milkshakes, which explained the business even though it was cold: the drive thru and inside. If you're in the area ... stop in!

Girls working we're super friendly. Shakes and burger were wonderful. Curly fries needed to cook a little longer or maybe hotter oil. Definitely will try them again.

I like the vibe of this place, the staff was really nice, but I can't get over the fact that they use American cheese and it just tastes gross. Other than that the food was good, nothing fancy, and the blackberry milkshake was delicious.

My grandad would always order the mountaineer burger here when I was a kid. I remember that so clearly. He's passed now and when I come here, I order now in honor of him. And now I get why he liked it so much.

The servers are great and they have a lot of food and ice cream choices. Very fun.

Decent place to eat. There's really nothing particularly special about the place, it's just a small town drive in. They do have good food and I personally am quite fond of the deep fried mushrooms and the mountaineer burger.

Arrived at 11am today, immediately got a very enthusiastic HELLO from all 3 ladies working. Ordered a egg and bacon burger which was good sized, hand cut fries...MASSIVE serving and a large milkshake with tax was $10.85 and couldn't finish the fries or milkshake despite not having breakfast this morning...very satisfied at the service, food and facility was retro 50s diner and CLEAN with lots of Halloween decorations to boot. Will definitely return.

Hals has always been the best place in town to get a burger. Went today, the burger was good but ordered a small fry and there were 16 little fries in the bag. The husband and I split the bag so he and I each got 8 fries. I think we'll drive to Burdsview Burgers next time. For what a small fry cost now it will pay for the gas.

This place was surprisingly really good. Nice people and good food. The only downside there’s a drive thru, but it overflows onto the street and gets really backed up.

Fries were cold, burgers were soggy, root beer float was half full and sherbet ice cream taste the worst!! Not a happy customer!!! Usually taste ok!! I have never purchased ice cream there before. I doubt I will ever buy the ice cream again. I was not impressed sherbet taste old. But customer service was great. Those girls move quickly!! 🙂

Small down burger joint. Great shakes and food! Costs more than national chain competitors. That's because it's made fresh and way better than the competition!

My absolute favorite hamburger and fry place!!! Unfortunately, they are closed on Sundays.

Really good great food and great service and affordable price

Ordered a jalapeno burger; no mayo, add bacon. What I got: a jalapeno burger with mayo, and no bacon (which, yes, I was charged for the bacon).And their drive thru situation is so bad I wasn’t gonna go through it again.

Good milkshakes and fries. Was a little disturbed by the lack of diversity in the employees. Mainly blonde white teenage girls, guess they did stick to the fifties theme, a bit too literally.
